See our Environmental Responsibility page for more information on how we protect our environment and give back to our community.
Experienced Alaskans are the cornerstones of our tour operations. Our team has fun and takes pride in showing visitors the amazing environment where we live and work. We love Alaska and want our visitors to have the same sense of wonder that keeps us here. We are an Alaska company that cares – about our guests, about our community, and about the beautiful places that we explore. Our goal is to provide you with a high-quality, authentic, environmentally responsible experience that inspires you to love Alaska as much as we do.
On September 1st, 2015, Major Marine Tours was honored to be chosen to host President Barack Obama on a cruise in Resurrection Bay. Three Major Marine Tours Captains were selected to captain the Viewfinder for the President and several White House staff members on a 3 hour cruise. The President was visiting Alaska to see first-hand the effects of climate change. Major Marine Tours was deeply honored to have been selected as the tour operator for the President and his staff.
