One of the best ways to get an up-close experience of Kenai Fjords National Park and Resurrection Bay is from a kayak. Major Marine Tours is proud to partner with Liquid Adventures, a local kayak company based out of Seward that shows you to some of the most special, remote spots in the area by kayak. Stand Up Paddleboarding


Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Now is your chance experience the SUP craze for yourself. SUP is a variation of surfing, using a long canoe-style paddle to move across the water while standing on a super-sized surfboard. The standing height over the water gives you an elevated perspective, allowing you to see both deeper into the water and farther across the surface of the water.

Bear Lake Intro to Stand Up Paddleboarding

Learn the ins and outs of stand up paddleboarding from an experienced instructor while enjoying the beauty of Bear Lake. In this 2 hour flat water session, you will learn the fundamentals of SUP. No experience necessary.

Bear Glacier Stand Up Paddleboarding

Exit Glacier Naturalist Hike

Walk to the edge of Exit Glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park with a naturalist guide. Learn how this magnificent chunk of ice has affected the geology, biology. and even the weather in the beautiful Resurrection Valley.

Exit Glacier Ice Hiking

This 6 hour tour is popular with outdoor enthusiasts who want to dig in and explore what Alaska has to offer. The picturesque path alongside Exit Glacier climbs 1400 ft in 1.5 miles over a mixture of trail and backcountry terrain. You will then spend an hour exploring the undulating surface of the ice of Exit Glacier before hiking back down the trail.

Alaska SeaLife Center


The Alaska SeaLife Center is a state-of-the-art marine research, rehabilitation, and education facility on the shores of Resurrection Bay in downtown Seward. Learn about the Alaska SeaLife Center’s significant marine research and rehabilitation efforts for sick and injured marine mammals. Watch marine animals up-close and get immersed in marine ecosystems in the naturalistic marine habitats.

Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center


The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is a sanctuary dedicated to preserving Alaska’s wildlife through conservation, education, research, and quality animal care. AWCC is a nonprofit organization that provides comfortable, permanent homes for orphaned and injured animals. AWCC provides care for more than 15 different species on a large 200-acre property, allowing the animals to feel at home and display their natural wild behavior.
