Alaska Gray Whale Watching Tours
Departing from Seward, Alaska

Give into "Spring Fever" and join the crew of Major Marine Tours for a day that is sure to become one of your fondest Alaska memories. Come along as we head out to the opening of Resurrection Bay to watch Gray Whales as they begin their annual migration north from Baja California to their summer feeding waters in the Bering Sea.

Gray Whales travel by "line of sight", which means that they travel close to the coastline on this amazing journey. While cruising this pristine setting, you will view alpine glaciers, Steller sea lions, Dall's porpoise, harbor porpoise, harbor seals, bald eagles, puffins and many other types of marine birds. You might even be treated to sightings of Orca (killer whales) or Humpback Whales. Our tour is fully narrated by our experienced captains and naturalist crew members. Complimentary beverages include coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Additional snacks and beverages are available for purchase.

Our 4-hr Gray Whale Watch cruises depart daily from Seward, a seaside town located 125 miles south of Anchorage on Alaska's famous Kenai Peninsula. The highly scenic drive to Seward from Anchorage provides countless views of mountains, inlets, lakes, rivers, glaciers and more. If you'd rather use your travel time to sit back and relax while you gaze at the spectacular sights, we are more than happy to arrange roundtrip transportation via motorcoach or the legendary Alaska Railroad.

Major Marine Tours also offers full-day Kenai Fjords National Park Cruises departing from Seward Alaska, and half-day Prince William Sound Glacier Cruises departing from Whittier Alaska. Qualify for discount fares when you book more than one cruise with Major Marine Tours.
